About

I'm Alexis Elsey, an independent stone sourcing and vetting specialist supporting jewelers, private client teams, and luxury sales professionals.

My background is high-touch and high-stakes: years inside premium jewelry environments, building and running high-value sales, and operating with the standards required when your name is attached to every recommendation. I'm GIA-trained and evaluation-forward. I care about how a stone performs in real life, not how it looks in a perfectly lit clip.

I don't fabricate or cast. My lane is the stone and the process: procurement, vetting, selection support, and clean handoff to your bench or team.

How I work

I filter aggressively, communicate cleanly, and keep shortlists short because in B2B, the goal isn't "more options." It's the right option, fast.

What you can expect

  • trade-fluent communication (direct, fast, no drama)
  • honest notes that match the stone in hand
  • respect for supplier time and relationships
  • a process you can plug into without friction

What I Do

Trade-facing sourcing support for jewelers and luxury sales teams handling specific, high-expectation requests.

Stone Procurement & Sourcing

Targeted pulls for diamonds and colored stones based on your brief: shape, size range, performance, budget, and deadline.

Expert Vetting & Selection Support

Performance-first screening to eliminate weak options early (the "looks great in the video, dies in normal lighting" problem). Delivered as clean shortlists with direct notes.

On-Site Evaluation (By Request)

When the request warrants it, I can evaluate stones in person with suppliers and build the shortlist from the table, not the inbox.

Montana Sapphire Sourcing (Specialty Lane)

Montana sapphires are nuanced and easy to misread remotely. I maintain direct access to deep Montana inventory through long-standing supplier relationships and apply a strict filter for:

  • real-life performance
  • color behavior across lighting
  • cut quality and face-up presence
  • matching support for pairs/sets when needed

Certifications & Affiliations

A sourcing partner should be credible, consistent, and accountable. This is evaluation-first work.

The Process

Brief → Pull → Shortlist → Secure → Handoff

A clean sourcing workflow designed for speed, accuracy, and easy presentation.

1) Sourcing Brief

You send the ask + non-negotiables + timing. If it's fuzzy, I'll tighten it into a sourcing target quickly.

2) Targeted Pull

I source through trusted channels and filter aggressively.

3) Decision-Ready Shortlist

You receive a tight set of vetted contenders with clear media + honest notes, ready to present or review internally.

4) Secure & Coordinate

Once approved, I coordinate purchase/memo logistics and execute a clean handoff to your bench or team.

Common Use Cases

Where teams typically pull me in:

If you're client-facing, your reputation is the product. My job is to protect it.

Start a Sourcing Request

Accepting a limited number of trade requests at a time to keep execution fast.

Include in your brief:

  • stone type / target look
  • size range + shape
  • budget range
  • deadline / timeline
  • any must-haves (treatment/origin/cert requirements)
  • whether memo/on-approval is needed
